Insightful graphic design
for any brand or business

Whether you’re decades in or just beginning, Brightleaf can help:

A decade+ of creative experience:

Big Brands

I can happily say that I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some retail & foodservice giants, often in the food & drink sector but not exclusively.

Working with bigger brands taught me about brand guidelines, sensitively considering existing client bases when evolving brand visuals (while also moving things forward), and copyright, among other heavyweight points.

Little Brands

I’ve a passion for visionary start-ups looking to make a change in the world. To me, this is what design and creativity is all about: we’re here to make things better.

Whether you’re developing an algorithm for world peace or baking a bangin’ calzone, I would love to help your business build a fresh, impactful and personable brand - so that the marketplace can love you, too.

Cardboard Box(es)

For my first seven years in graphic design, I worked in a Kent studio that specialised in innovative card-based packaging design including boxes, labels and more.

A close partnership with a large printing house means I was born and raised creatively with print boundaries in mind - I consider different materials, processes & finishes, as well as soundly create artwork set up for print.

B2B & B2C

I’ve worked in both the retail and service sectors, across different categories such as food & drink, hospitality, gifting, home, cosmetics and toy.

This has given me a ton of professional insight into different industry staples and perimeters, allowed me to build some brilliant and specialised contacts, and led to a wider knowledge of design - and print - processes in general. Invaluable learning!

Print & Digital

My daily bagel & cheese is print design - mostly brand stationery, packaging, publishing and promotional material, including exhibition work.

I’ve several years experience, however, in online media too, specifically social media imagery, website banners and digital adverts. Also, front-end graphics for websites - I have a natural consideration for user experience in almost everything I do.

Marketing Campaigns

In my last studio, I worked regularly on marketing campaign material for foodservice brands like Sarson’s Vinegar, Tilda Rice, Mutti and Frank’s Red Hot sauce.

Primarily I worked with the marketing team to create new visual campaign routes, but this role also included idea generation and concept visuals for PR stunts and public events - many of which went ahead and into the public domain.
