Hi ~

My name is Roseanne and I’m a Graphic Designer.

I’m a 35 year-old senior graphic designer with over a decade of experience - primarily in branding and packaging design - spanning both B2C and B2B sectors.

Having worked primarily within studios in Kent & Surrey throughout my career, I recently moved into freelance graphic design and now work out of my home office in Nutfield, Surrey.

My skillset sees me working on a lot of different material, from logos to illustrations, promo flyers and social media imagery - the link below can tell you more:

Under my brand Brightleaf Creative, I create thought-out, holistic designs full of natural spark.

Ultimately, my job is to create a powerful, lasting connection between brand and buyer via visual communication.

I make a conscious effort to truly understand my clients, their target market and the values they need to communicate through-and-through.

As my natural approach is to build substance, my work is underpinned by many interests and curiousities that inform my skills - such as human psychology, ideaology and worldwide cultures.

Whether you’re a retailer, producer or service provider, I can help you thrive ~

I vet my ideas like I check my orchids -
at the roots.

This ensures attractive, sound designs for my clients.

Any creative solution needs to be strong and healthy at the core.

My active imagination means I approach things laterally, but as a creative problem-solver too, things need to make sense!

Whether you simply need a logo for your start up, some packaging labels designed or you have a bigger design challenge on your plate, I can help.

In the past, I have helped companies visualise their target market, improve their offering and even streamline their product lines for attractive interior (in-brand) and exterior (customer-facing) clarity.

As well as this, you’ll find me very approachable and easy to work with ~

My approach is simple:

Absorb.

I adore jumping in:

With my immersive approach, it’s essential to any project that I soak up the culture. That way, I can confidently create visual cues to express those essential brand values and authentic, appealing vibes.

Create.

The extra exciting bit:

Having gained a solid understanding of what’s required and for whom, I take what I’ve learnt and create a visual solution. This can be anything from a couple of logo options to a comprehensive, budding brand route.

Connect.

What it’s ultimately all about:

This begins with weaving everything in together (creating a strong, consistent, visual identity and applying it across brand materials) and continues with the consumer happily connecting to your product or service.

I’m inspired by nature, cultural storytelling and fantasy fiction ...

Among other things; anything from a piece of historic architecture to a contemporary clockface, for example, can create that lightbulb moment!

I have a keen interest in sustainable design and materials, and outside of my profession as a freelance graphic designer, I dabble in creative writing and art - often around the themes of nature, folklore and emotional synergy.

And I love to create ~
